Social media activist, VeryDarkMan, popularly known as VDM, has mocked rapper, Zlatan Ibile over his album and wedding, questioning the attention both events received as speculation grows over a possible rift between them.

VDM made the remarks in a post on his social media page, saying he would be disappointed if Zlatan’s latest song failed to hold the top spot on Apple Music for a full month.

“Person wey do a whole wedding because he won promote him album, album no blow, wedding no blow,” he wrote.

The social media personality also took a dig at the online publicity surrounding the wedding, arguing that the posts shared by blogs did not attract significant engagement.

“All the blogs that posted the wedding, no one entered 5k comments. All the PR, Vincent everywhere. If that song no stay No. 1 for one month, e go pain me,” he added.

The exchange comes after listeners began speculating that Zlatan had made a reference to VDM in a song featuring Peruzzi and Shoday.

In the track, Zlatan raps, “I no be Vincent, I no fit masturbate,” prompting some listeners to link the lyric to VDM, whose first name is Vincent.

While noting that grieving in silence is more dangerous than being loud, she said, “I hope you know we can’t afford to lose you too. Dear BBO @officialbbo_ I hope you are fine? I understand this silence. I love how genuine you are even in death. I love how you didn’t chase clout with his death.

“You can take your time to reflect, sober, be offline and REST as you wish. Because his sudden death will definitely change any hardworking youths perspective about life. Don’t be in a position where your health will demand too much from you because of overthinking. Remember, his immediate family needs you now more than before.”

Nigerian gospel singer, Adeyinka Adeboye, popularly known as Boye Best, has lamented fake love in the industry.

He stated this while addressing his fellow ministers after attending the service of songs for the late singer Toluwanisings.

DAILY POST reports that friends and colleagues held a tribute night and service of songs for Toluwanisings in Ibadan on Tuesday evening.

The event attended by Boye Best was also graced by other artistes.

Shortly after the event, Boye who is one of the deceased’s close associates, lamented fake love among gospel ministers.

Speaking in different posts on his Instagram story, he warned his colleagues who he referred to as brethren to be aware of false love.

Nollywood actress and the governorship candidate of the African Action Congress in Abia State, Doris Ogala, has accused Pastor Jerry Eze and Johnson Suleman of having a hand in her remand.

DAILY POST reports that Doris was remanded in Ikoyi Prison on Wednesday by the Lagos State High Court following her ongoing legal battle with Pastor Chris Okafor of Grace Nation Bible Ministry.

The actress is facing a four-count charge bordering on harassment and cyberbullying, publication of the clergyman’s personal materials, attempted extortion and dissemination of false information to incriminate the cleric.

However, speaking from prison, Doris, in a post on her page, called out Chris Okafor and two other prominent Nigerian pastors, Jerry Eze and Johnson Suleman, accusing them of being responsible for her remand because of the alleged secrets she has about them.

While urging the general public to hold the clergymen responsible should anything happen to her, the actress lamented an alleged plot to kill her in prison.

“Suleman Johnson, Jerry Eze, una know nau. The secret I know is too heavy. That’s why. If anything happens to me, hold them responsible. They begged me to apologise to them to cover their shit. That video I made. Jerry’s PA begged for it. Suleman’s boy begged me to put it up to cover their shit. I know a lot, and I’m not afraid of any of them,” she wrote.

Nigerian gospel singer, Yinka Alaseyori, seems to have finally reconciled with Tope Alabi after five years of public malice.

Tope claimed that referring to God as guarantor understates His immense power, noting that God is far greater than a mere guarantor.

Nigerian rapper, Blaqbonez has claimed that no successful person wants to spend their retirement in Nigeria.

The rapper, whose real name is Emeka Akumefule, made the remarks during an appearance on The Zeze Millz Show, where he described Nigeria as “hectic” and said travelling abroad had shown him how much the country needed to improve.

“Nigeria is hectic, but it is still home. When you go to other countries, you will realise how far we are from where we should be,” he said.

Speaking about his retirement plans, Blaqbonez said he struggled to imagine successful people choosing to remain in Nigeria after leaving active work.

“I don’t think that there is any successful person who wants to live in Nigeria after retirement. Maybe there are some people,” he said.

Controversial Nigerian self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing CEO has revealed that her late nine-year-old son, Bryan, reportedly told family members he had dreamt of his own death before he passed away.

Blessing said she only learnt about the incident after his death, when her first son, Darrell, and her younger sister, Precious, separately told her about the dreams.

“Especially to mothers, please pick this as a lesson,” she said, urging parents to listen carefully when their children share fears or troubling experiences.

She said Darrell recalled Bryan waking up one day and telling him he had dreamt that he died.

Precious prayed for him at the time but did not consider it a cause for concern, Blessing explained.

She added that Bryan had also told his father about the dream but never mentioned it to her while he was alive.

She further disclosed that Bryan suffered from severe asthma, a condition she also lives with.

“My son passed. He was asthmatic and I’m also asthmatic, but because I’ve grown, I’ve learnt how to manage my health. Bryan was very asthmatic and very hyperactive,” she said.

This came amid the ongoing disagreement between the widow and her husband’s family over his final resting place.

According to viral reports online, Elizabeth reportedly refused plans to bury him at their home in Ibadan, insisting that she prefers the cemetery.
