Durosinmi earns Osimhen comparison from agent

Genk forward Rafiu Durosinmi has been compared to compatriot Victor Osimhen by his agent, Tosin Dosunmu.

Durosinmi linked up with the Smurfs from Serie A club, Pisa, last month.

The Nigeria international has been in fantastic form since his arrival at the Belgian Pro League giants.

The 23-year-old has registered five goals in six league appearances for the Smurfs.

Dosunmu said there is a little of Osimhen in the former Viktoria Plzen striker.

“On matchday one, he already surprised me with what he showed after barely ten days of training. Rafiu sometimes reminds me a bit of Victor Osimhen, with the difference that he is really very strong in the air,” Dosunmu told Het Nieuwsblad.

Ballon d’Or 2026: Yamal wants to take Kane, PSG players out of debate – Acherchour

French pundit, Walid Acherchour, has claimed that Barcelona winger, Lamine Yamal, wants to take Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane and Paris Saint-Germain players out of the Ballon d’Or debate.

According to him, the Spain international is deliberately influencing the Ballon d’Or conversation by turning it into a direct challenge with Real Madrid attacker, Kylian Mbappe.

Yamal is among 30 players, including Kane, Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who were shortlisted for the Ballon d’Or.

“Lamine Yamal has understood everything. He wants to make the Ballon d’Or debate about him and Kylian Mbappe,” Acherchour said, as quoted by The Touchline.

“He wants to take the PSG players and Harry Kane out of the debate because he’s thinking: ‘If it’s me against Mbappe, I’m going to win the Ballon d’Or.’”

EPL: Man Utd also defeated Man City with offside goal – Maresca hits back

Manchester City’s Enzo Maresca, has claimed that Manchester United won a Derby game against them three years with an offside goal.

Maresca was reacting to Pro Ref admitting that Erling Haaland’s winner against United last Sunday shouldn’t have stood.

Haaland’s goal was initially disallowed for offside on the pitch before VAR overturned the decision.

The VAR officials deemed that Haaland was played onside by United defender Patrick Dorgu.

However, Man City’s Enzo Fernandez was in an offside position as he attempted to play the ball before it reached Haaland.

Pro Ref has since contacted United and apologised for the decision.

But Maresca has claimed they are yet to receive an apology for a goal Bruno Fernandes scored against City a few seasons ago.

“Three years ago we lost the Derby at Old Trafford with a goal that had to be disallowed. No one apologised. We are still waiting for the apology,” Maresca said.

“Sometimes it happens for you, sometimes against you. It’s football.”
