Nigerian singer Skales has revealed how Burna Boy allegedly begged Davido to allow him to join his private jet to Yola for a performance, recalling that the aircraft was so full that someone had to sit on the toilet seat.

Skales recounted the experience while speaking about a show where he and Burna Boy were booked to perform in Yola.

According to him, Burna contacted Davido to ask if he could travel with his team, and the singer agreed.

However, because the jet was already full, Davido reportedly had to ask one of his team members to travel the following day.

Recalling the flight, Skales said someone even had to sit on the toilet seat because there was no space.

He also said Davido gave up his seat for him during the journey.

“Burna called Davido and said, ‘Please, can I join their jet?’ Davido said, ‘Why not?’” Skales recalled.

The singer further disclosed that after arriving in Yola, he performed with Burna Boy, and the experience eventually connected him to Major Lazer, with whom he later made music.

Controversial self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing CEO, has apologised to Nigerians for speaking carelessly about people’s pains online.

This came a few minutes after her lover, IVD, sought forgiveness from his business partners, family and friends.

Speaking in a lengthy Instagram post on Tuesday, Blessing CEO who recently lost her second son while in prison, expressed regret over her careless remarks about people’s pains in public.

While attributing her current experience as the price for her careless statements about people’s pains, she said “I am realising that talk is cheap but action is loud. I’m only human, with blood flowing through my veins, so I’m bound to make mistakes.

“Mistakes have a price and that’s what I’m paying for now with my tears. I am so broken to the point that I am losing myself. Pray for me because I’m exhausted from praying by myself.

“I am sorry, I am so so sorry, for speaking about the pains I have never felt carelessly. So I will say this over and over again, I am sorry to everyone I have hurt with words and actions, now I can feel every bit of your pain that I once mocked.”

DAILY POST reports that Blessing CEO mocked IVD’s late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna.

She suggested that Bimbo had brought the tragedy upon herself and made other statements that drew condemnation and accusations of mocking the dead.

After the news of her relationship with IVD became public, a video of her stating that instead of snatching a husband, she would “put you 6 feet and collect him” surfaced on social media.

Celebrity Lagos-based auto dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD, has begged his family, friends and business partners for forgiveness.

Pleading for forgiveness in an Instagram post on Tuesday, IVD promised to rectify his mistakes.

Reflecting on his life experiences over the last few years, the auto dealer stated that “It’s been 5 years of endless battle.”

While noting that he’s not a perfect being, IVD, who seems to have been abandoned by associates and business partners since the sudden death of his wife and his controversial relationship with the controversial socialite, Blessing CEO, urged anyone he ever hurt through his actions to forgive him.

“To my family, friends and business partners, it’s been 5 years of endless battle, also trying to retract all my mistakes. I pray for God’s mercy and forgiveness. In any way I’ve hurt anyone, I pray for forgiveness.

“I’m only human, am not a perfect person, I have prayed for God’s forgiveness and for him to show me mercy like the Lord said there is time for everything. Time to reflect and time to focus.”

DAILY POST reports that IVD has been under social media attack since the death of his wife, Bimbo Ogbonna, who died from injuries she sustained during a house fire after a fight with IVD at their matrimonial home in October 2022.

However, IVD revealed his relationship with Blessing CEO, soon after. He then claimed that his deceased wife, Bimbo, was publicly violent, one year after her death.

Soon after his affair with Blessing was made public, the latter claimed she had been a family therapist and emotional assistant to IVD, who was accused of Bimbo’s murder before he was finally discharged and acquitted of complicity in 2025.

Popular rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, known as Odumodublvck, has alleged that some artistes use voodoo to secure hit songs in the Nigerian music industry.

Speaking in an episode of the Tea With Tay podcast, Odumodublvck said it is hard to get a hit song, stressing that some artistes never get a single hit song throughout their careers.

He praised Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido for consistently dropping hits over the years.

“Getting a hit song is not easy. Sometimes people even do jazz to get one. That is why you see some artists crashing out when they struggle to get a hit.

“Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido have been dropping hit songs consistently for years.

“You have to respect that. Some artistes never get a hit song throughout their careers,” he stated.

Nigerian actress, Rachael Okonkwo has been engaged to her Nigerian billionaire boyfriend, Chukwudi Onuorah.

The engagement took place over the weekend.

Speaking at the proposal venue, Rachael was heard calling Onuorah “my billionaire baby”.

Nigerian gospel singer and pastor, Nathaniel Bassey, has become the first African to hit one billion views on YouTube.

Statistics by his channel, Nathaniel Bassey Main, disclosed that the music minister has recorded 1,014,544,577 views and 5.24 million YouTube subscribers since its creation in 2011.

Nathaniel Bassey’s channel, powered by worship songs like Imela, You Are God, Onise lyanu and his popular online music and prayer movement, Halleluyah Challenge, surpassed the historic milestone over the weekend.

The development came after the just concluded October 5 to 30, 2026, edition of Halleluyah Challenge. The movement was founded in 2017.

The achievement has generated excitement on social media especially among his followers who took to his page to congratulate him.

The family of late Nigerian actor, Francis Duru, has announced his burial arrangements.

The family made the announcement in a statement shared on the actor’s Instagram page on Monday.

According to the statement, jointly signed by the deceased’s sister, Anthonia Chenyi, and his first son, Ebuka Duru, the actor will be buried at his family’s compound in Imo State on December 11, 2026.

While inviting the public, the family announced that a service of songs will be held in his honour on November 25, 2026, at Family Worship Center, Idris Gidado Street, Wuye, Abuja, ahead of his burialnon December 10 and 11 in his hometown.

“Service of songs in Abuja on Wednesday, 25th November 2026 by 5:00 PM at Family Worship Center, Idris Gidado Street, Wuye.

“Service of songs in Imo State on Thursday, 10th December 2026 at the late Pa Theophilus Ogide Duru’s Family Compound, Okai, Eziama, Isiala Mbano. Followed by funeral and interment on Friday, 11th December 2026 at Okai, Eziama, Isiala Mbano,” parts of the statement read.

Afrobeats singer David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has expressed deep concern over bad governance, injustice, and the long-suffering of Nigerians.

Speaking in an episode of the I Wanna Talk podcast, Davido candidly revealed that he thought genuine change was coming to Nigeria during the EndSARS protests but Nigerians quickly reverted to their old ways.

He lamented that those who claim to fight for Nigerians often change whenever they get into power.

The singer stated that despite being from a privileged and influential background, he still fears losing his life.

Davido said Nigeria needs an urgent positive change.

“I was happy to see Nigerians protest during EndSARS. I thought change was coming, but December came and people were partying. Even me, who was initially optimistic about the movement got discouraged. I was like we can’t kill ourselves. We have kids and people we are living for.

“Once the government is bad, there would be hardship. I can’t even advise people who are going through economic hardship because I am not going through what they are going through, even though I have my own struggles, too. What I can say is, Nigeria, fix up. The country has to change from politicians to citizens, everything.

“We can’t change our society until we change our mindset as a people. Today, the same people that were protesting are campaigning for politicians. Those who claim to fight for the people often change when they get power,” he stated.

Social media activist, VeryDarkMan has accused financial commentator, GehGeh of failing to appreciate his support during the controversy involving his sister, Precious.

He claimed that he helped save GehGeh’s platform when Nigerians turned against him.

VeryDarkMan made the allegation in a social media post while responding to claims that he wanted to bring GehGeh down.

He said he and music promoter Tunde Ednut stood by GehGeh when the backlash intensified, adding that he advised him on how to handle the situation and change the public narrative.

“Without me una for pull Gehgeh down. I saved his platform,l saved him. social media turned against him, only one person stood by him or let’s say 2 because Tunde Ednut helped him,” he wrote.

VeryDarkMan further alleged that GehGeh failed to acknowledge his role.

“After he did everything, I told him and the narrative changed to his favour, he never came back to say thank you,” he added.

He also accused GehGeh of fuelling the claim that he wanted to destroy him, insisting that the commentator owed him for helping protect his platform.

“You wey them don finish already. that clown owes me his platform,” he wrote.

In the fresh exchange GehGeh’s sister, Precious, made an appeal to VeryDarkMan.

In her message, she appealed directly to the activist, saying: “Uncle VeryDarkMan my helper, GehGeh did not give me the 5 million naira you told him to give me, All he did was audio, please Verydarkman help me remind him to fulfill the promise, I still need help.”

She claimed that GehGeh had only made a verbal promise and had not given her the money.

Nigerian actor turned pastor, Jimmy Odukoya, has introduced Pastor Mo Jasmine as his new wife.

Jimmy made his marriage to Mo Jasmine public after introducing her to the members of his congregation during service on Sunday.

Addressing them, Jimmy, who is the senior pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, disclosed that his first marriage had crashed before he took the leadership of the church in 2023 after the death of his father, Taiwo Odukoya.

He said, “so, you know ever since I became your pastor, I was doing this work of life alone. And you know that the Bible says it is not good. It said I will find somebody suitable.

“Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you for the first time Pastor Mrs Odukoya.”

Also congratulating him on Instagram, the church shared photos and videos of the couple and wrote, “congratulations to our senior pastor and First Lady Pastor Mo.”

Prior to the announcement, he had kept the dissolution of his first marriage private.

DAILY POST reports that the development came as a surprise to netizens who thought Jimmy was still married to his ex-wife, Kemi Odukoya.

The duo got married in 2013 and shared two children together but the cause of their marriage crash remains unknown.
