The house of veteran Nollywood actor, Adeola Shoremi, popularly known as Lanko omo Oba Dubai’s house.

His ex-wife, actress Mama No Network made this known in a post shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday afternoon.

Announcing the sad incident Mama No Network prays for the recovery of his losses.

Sharing the video of the incident, the actress wrote “Lanko Omo Oba Dubai house got burnt. I pray may God will recover all his losses soon.”

DAILY POST reports that Mama No Network got married to Lanko in 2014 and remarried in 2023 after separation from the actor.

Legendary Nigerian musician Fela Anikulapo-Kuti has made history as the first African artist to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Fela will be honoured in the early influence category this year, along with Queen Latifah, rapper MC Lyte, country rocker Gram Parsons, and Cuban singer Celia Cruz.

The honorees were revealed on Monday night in the US, during an airing of American Idol.

Nigerian-born British singer Sade Adu will be honoured in the performance category.

However, Shakira, Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, New Edition, and Pink, missed out on the final cut despite being nominated.

Over 1,200 artists, historians and music industry professionals voted to decide the honorees.

The induction ceremony will be held on 14 November at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.

DAILY POST recalls that earlier this year, Fela also made history as the first African musician to win the Grammy Lifetime Achievement award.

Singer Kingsley Okonkwo, popularly known as Kcee, has revealed how being snubbed by award organisers affected him and how he was able to overcome the psychological impact.

Speaking in an episode of the Echo Room podcast, the Limpopo crooner disclosed that award snub affects him to the point of shedding tears.

Kcee explained that with time, he learned how to enjoy the support of fans and stop chasing the validations of award organisers.

He said, “Initially, the music industry wasn’t giving me recognition. The fans were the ones supporting me. I wasn’t being nominated for awards. I cried. I was pained.

“But eventually, I grew a thick skin not to worry about awards. Right now, whether I win or they don’t nominate me, I don’t care.”

He added that the benefits of the support of his fans are more rewarding than accolades.

Popular Nigerian gospel musician, Moses Bliss, has narrated how his wife, Marie Bliss, battled an unknown ailment.

Moses who shared this during his recent ministration at the Mountain Experience program in Abuja, stated that Marie couldn’t breathe during the sickness.

While testifying to the power of God, the singer explained that the ailment which could not be diagnosed despite multiple tests, comes with body pain and difficulty breathing

He further revealed that the undiagnosed illness was overcome with prayers.

‎”Me and my wife were in the UK, and all of a sudden we don’t know when the devil came. My wife became ill with one side of her body paining her, the back is also paining her, and before you know it, she could not breathe very well. It became serious that we had to take her to the hospital. And doctors said they don’t know the cause.

“They were doing all sorts of tests and they did not know what was going on and I started crying. I had to quickly rush down to Nigeria for a program. On the flight back to London, the spirit of God told me what are you wanting for? Are you not going to put an end to this nonsense, to this Harassment. Who are you wanting for?

“So when I got to the hospital I started praying with my wife, and pumping the words of God into her heart. While on my way home, she called me that she had been discharged,” he said.

‘She couldn’t breathe’ – Moses Bliss on wife’s battle with unknown ailment [VIDEO]

Nigerian singer Kcee has revealed that years of being overlooked by award organizers in the industry once left him deeply hurt, despite his consistent contributions to Afrobeats.

Speaking during an interview with Afrobeats Intelligence, the singer shared that the lack of recognition from award bodies affected him emotionally, even bringing him to tears at one point in his career.

According to him, while his work resonated strongly with fans, it often failed to receive the same acknowledgment from industry gatekeepers.

“I grew up in an industry that wasn’t fair to me. There wasn’t any attention given to me at any moment. I was doing a lot that the industry wasn’t recognising,” he said.

Kcee explained that he has since developed a different mindset, choosing to focus less on awards and more on the impact of his music.

He noted that he now prioritizes “rewards” such as fan support and global reach over formal recognition.

“The fans were the ones who were behind me. I did a lot of work; they were not nominating me for awards. And I cried; I was pained.

“Right now, when I win awards, or you don’t nominate me, I don’t care. I prefer the rewards to the awards,” he stated.

Reflecting on a turning point in his career, the artist highlighted the massive success of his hit song Limpopo, which he described as a breakthrough moment that pushed him onto the international stage.

He expressed gratitude for the global attention the track attracted, especially after years of hard work.

Kcee also pointed to the viral success of Ojapiano, noting its rapid rise on TikTok, where it generated significant user engagement within days of release.

He emphasized that the song’s organic popularity, including its views by international audiences, reaffirmed his belief in the value of genuine fan connection over industry validation.

“So, when ‘Limpopo’ came, oh, I was in tears. I was like, no, God has answered my prayer. He took me to the global market straight.

“After all the years I’ve worked with Presh, that’s like the biggest record I’ve ever done. I dropped ‘Ojapiano’ like today, the next day, it was doing 120,000 videos on TikTok in one day. And it happened for seven days non-stop. That’s organic. The white people were vibing to it,” he added.

Celebrity Nigerian businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika, also known as Blord, has reportedly been relocated from a criminal cell over health concerns.

This comes two weeks after the Federal High Court in Abuja remanded Blord in Kuje prison for 26 days.

DAILY POST reports that Blord was arraigned on multiple counts, including impersonating VeryDarkMan and forgery.

However, giving an update on the issue in a post on his Instagram story, VeryDarkMan disclosed that Blord has been sick since April 6, 2026.

He further shared a WhatsApp message alleging that Blord has been transferred from “Egypt 2” to segregation. “Egypt 2 na the Ajegunle part of Kuje prison where armed robbers and other criminals stay. They had to move him because he was sick.”

While mocking Sowore for not being able to secure Blord’s release, VeryDarkMan announced his willingness to “temper mercy.”

He also wrote on his story: “Sowore and his avengers don’t have power to bring Blord out and discontinue the case like he claimed. We are willing to temper mercy.”

Rotimi Salami, a popular Nollywood actor, has been hospitalised following a serious health scare.

This was made known on Monday in a post on the actor’s Instagram page.

Sharing a picture of himself on a hospital bed, Rotimi stated that he narrowly escaped death within the last 48 hours.

While appreciating God for saving him, he noted that Kilanko, a newly released cinema movie in honour of the late Allwell Ademola, has taken a lot from him.

“I survived the last 48 hours because God said yes. I’m not the type to say ‘Devil is a liar’ because I’ve truly stressed this body. Kilanko has taken too much from me,” he revealed.

Popular Nollywood actor, Rotimi Salami hospitalised

Tumininu, the partner of Big Brother Naija reality TV star Angel Smith, has accused her of cheating.

This comes less than a month after their white wedding.

DAILY POST reports that Angel got married to a female partner in March 2026. The same-sex marriage was held in the United States.

However, the breakup claim started after Tumininu shared a picture of Angel’s engagement ring with the caption, “if you need ring, holla”.

The post was accompanied by another photo of herself cuddling an unidentified woman on Snapchat.

While accusing Angel of cheating on her with another woman she met on a dating app, Tumininu said she had spent more than N100 million on Angel, along with other significant sacrifices to keep their relationship.

Reacting to critics of her post, Tumininu wrote: “After everything I did for Angel, when una no know most of the shit that has happened. Since you got here I have spent over 100k dollars on Angel. On her birthday I spent about 50k dollars. And yet you still went and slept with a girl that you met on Hinge.

“She’s currently at the girl’s house. LMAO after everything. Make una no make my blood hot, or else I go scatter everywhere. I dey my own,” she said.

As of the time of this report, Angel is yet to speak on the allegation.

BBNaija’s Angel Smith’s partner accuses her of cheating weeks after wedding

Nigerian singer Lekan Osifeso Junior, popularly known as Lojay, has revealed that his initial thought about being a pop star was an opportunity to womanise.

Speaking in an episode of the I Said What I Said podcast, the Monalisa crooner explained that his perspective changed after he realised that, to have a long and successful career, he needed a certain level of sexual discipline.

“There is a lot of temptation in the music industry. You will see a lot of things, but you are not meant to touch. I used to think I would frolic with a lot of ladies because there are babes everywhere. But when you have about 100 girls talking to you, that is when you need to cultivate discipline.

“I realised if you want a long career like the Big 3, you have to stay away from too many girls,” he said.

Lojay also revealed that one of his cultural shocks in the music industry was that the lifestyles of other artists that used to entice him when he was an underground artist were not as appealing when he got into the mainstream.

He claimed that there is a lot more discipline in the music industry than many assume, stressing that musicians are mindful of their words and actions because they have reputations to protect.

He, however, admitted that his personality also helped him to be more disciplined than most of his colleagues in terms of womanising and extravagant lifestyle.

Veteran Nollywood actor, Patrick Doyle has announced the heartbreaking loss of his newborn daughter, Omayinuwa Harriet.

In a post shared on his Facebook page on Sunday, Doyle revealed that the baby passed away on Saturday at about 4:15 p.m just a day after her birth.

“Omayinuwa visited us briefly at about 10:40 am on Friday 10th April and returned to heaven on Saturday 11th of April at about 4:15 pm,” he wrote.

“Her stay was short but it brought great joy with it. We would have wished for a longer stay, but alas, heaven thought otherwise.

“This much we know though, God still rules in the affairs of men. Our faith in the goodness of God remains resolute regardless. Sibe’ sibe’ Oluwa n’be’. It is well with our soul,” he said.

DAILY POST gathered that the child was Doyle’s daughter with his third wife, Funmilayo.
