Actress Tonto Dikeh’s ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, has broken his silence amid ongoing rumours of divorce from his wife, Rosy Meurer.

It was earlier speculated that Meurer filed for divorce from Churchill on April 20, 2026, following his alleged recent close relationship with Tonto Dikeh after their son, King Andre’s 10th birthday three months ago.

However, speaking amid the ongoing divorce rumours, Churchill, in a post on his Instagram story on Friday, explained that, “As a father, if I’m ever in a place where I have to pick between my kids or anyone/anything else, I’m picking my kids. Period.”

DAILY POST reports that the rumour first surfaced online shortly after Churchill reunited with his ex-wife, Tonto Dikeh, in January 2026, nine years after their messy divorce.

Revealing the purpose of their reunion, Churchill, in an Instagram post, noted that the reconciliation with his ex is strictly for co-parenting and not as a couple. Since then, they have been seen together in several photos and videos.

Meurer, who was previously close to the ex-couple before their separation, was earlier accused of “snatching” Churchill from Tonto.

She got married to Churchill in 2019, barely two years after his divorce from Tonto.

Nigerian singer, Zinoleesky, has officially parted ways with Naira Marley’s record label, Marlian Music.

Zinoleesky exited the Marlian label on Thursday April 23 2026, to start his independent era after seven years with the Marlian record.

He reportedly left the Marlian record following an alleged conflict with Naira Marley.

Zinoleesky’s label, Zinodict Music was unveiled on Friday after the release of his first independent single, Nostalgia on his social media page.

A check by DAILY POST confirmed that the singer has also updated his bio to the new label.

DAILY POST reports that the actor was reported to have died on Thursday April 23, 2026, after a long battle with kidney failure.

Reacting in a post on his Instagram page on Friday, Don Richard dismissed the viral report, stating that he is hale and hearty.

“There’s nothing wrong with me, I appreciate my fans for the love and concern. I’m alive, hale and hearty. I dey alive ooo, the bloggers should continue their bad posting, God will judge them amen,” he said.

Veteran producer and music executive ID Cabasa has urged Christian creatives not to shy away from pursuing a career in the secular music industry because of claims that it is “ungodly”.

The Coded Tunes boss debunked the claim as “a lie” aimed at dissuading Christians from the music industry.

He said contrary to the misconception, the devil doesn’t own the secular music industry.

On his X handle, he wrote, “If you are a Christian creatives within the secular space please pay attention! There’s an agenda to dissuade you from taking that space with a lie that the devil own that space! The devil owns Sin and carnality ‘Yes.’ But the earth is the Lord and the fullness thereof.”

Cabasa urged Christian creatives to embrace the secular music industry, stressing that “there’s evil in the world but there’s shortage of light which is why evil prevail”.

He assured, “Their evil cannot trump your light.”

Popular media personality, Roby Ekpo, has revealed his intention to petition the United States government against his ex-wife, Mayowa Lambe over alleged marriage fraud.

This is coming a few days after Mayowa got married to another man in the US without an official divorce from Ekpo.

Reacting to the development in a viral interview, Ekpo expressed shock about the news of Mayowa’s marriage to another man, and explained how he supported her to travel.

While insisting that Mayowa is still married to him, Ekpo claimed to have bought a flight ticket for Mayowa during her recent visit to Nigeria.

In response, Mayowa through her legal representative issued a cease-and-desist notice to Ekpo, and gave him 48 hours ultimatum to comply with her demands or face legal action.

Mayowa demands include retraction and apology, and payment of N100 million in damages, explaining that marital relationship between them “mutually terminated” in May 2025.

Challenging Mayowa’s defamation notice, Ekpo in via his legal representatives, Tap Legal Services, tagged her N100 million demand as “excessive, unfounded, and premature”.

While stating that everything he said was based on his personal experiences with her and not made with malicious intent as she claimed, he threatened to defend himself in court with all the evidences.

Ekpo through his legal representative, further threatened to submit all his evidence along with his petition to the US authorities against her.

“Your letter contains an admission of some of Our Client’s claims, and he reserves the right to admit it in evidence in his petition to the appropriate US government authorities, including the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. Our client also reserves the right to seek declaratory and injunctive relief as may be necessary to protect his rights and interests”, he said.

Mayowa Lambe, has issued a cease-and-desist notice to her ex-husband and popular media personality, Roby Ekpo, over comments about their marriage.

This came a few days after Roby Ekpo publicly cried during an interview with the Honest Bunch podcast after Mayowa got married to another man abroad without an official divorce with him.

Narrating how he supported Mayowa to travel abroad, Ekpo accused her of secretly using contraceptives throughout their 11 years of marriage, while he kept visiting hospital over fertility concerns.

He further shared evidence of how he had been sending money to her without knowing she was living with a man.

While describing the experience as painful, the media personality said “I woke up to videos and pictures of my wife on Instagram getting married to another man.”

His emotional breakdown heightened public interest, with many users criticising Mayowa for using Ekpo while some demand her own side of the story.

Reacting to the controversy, Mayowa, in a legal document signed by Chinedu Nwaneli Esq, issued a cease-and-desist notice to Ekpo and gave him 48 hours ultimatum to pull down the post online, retract and apologize, and pay N100 million in damages for defamation or face legal action.

“A Cease & Desist has been formally issued on behalf of Ms. Mayowa Lambe over false and defamatory statements being circulated publicly.
Let this be clear, there is no existing marital relationship. There is verifiable evidence contradicting these claims”, he said.

Reacting via his X page on Thursday, BNXN urged the American rapper to educate himself about African music.

BNXN also mocked Fat Joe, claiming that his hate for African music and its artists was affecting his looks.

Popular Nigerian streamer, Peller, has disclosed that his mother doesn’t want him to give money to his father.

He made this disclosure while reacting to content creator, GehGeh’s family controversy on social media.

In response, GehGeh who stated that he is the first person to become rich in his lineage, however, noted that “I never get the kind of money wey fit raise family from poverty.”

Expressing fear of becoming poor if he continues to help his family, GehGeh said: “I can only do my best and not my all”, and advised his siblings to go look for jobs.

Reacting to the controversy, Peller during a Livestream, noted that his father once threatened to drag him.
