VeryDarkMan confirms EFCC invitation, shares details [PHOTO]

Social media personality Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, says he has received an invitation from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
This came after a complaint submitted to the EFCC by legal practitioner Blessing Agbomhere of Blessing Agbomhere & Partners.
The petition demanded a holistic probe into the financial activities, sponsorship arrangements and funding channels of both VeryDarkMan and activist-lawyer Deji Adeyanju.
Reacting through his social media page, VeryDarkMan stated that the probe is a calculated attempt to silence dissenting voices in the country.
The activist equally alleged that members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, are using legal channels to initiate the inquiry to suppress public criticism of the current administration’s shortcomings.
“They want to stop us from speaking against this evil government that has failed to protect the lives of Nigerians. So, they used their people to write petitions,” VeryDarkMan wrote on his Instagram page.

AFCON: APC wont add super eagles game to their list of achievements – Speed Darlington rejoices

Nigerian singer, Speed Darlington appears to be happy that the Super Eagles did not win the Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, this year following his social media commentary.

The Super Eagles did not make it to the final of the Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday.

They will have to play in the third-place game after losing 4-2 to the host country, Morocco, in the semifinals.

The match finished with a 0-0 tie after regular time and extra time, which led to a penalty shootout where the North African team won.

Nigeria wanted to win their fourth Africa Cup of Nations trophy, but their hopes ended when Samuel Chukwueze and Bruno Onyeamachi missed their penalty kicks.

Expressing what appears to be satisfaction with the outcome, Speed Darlington wrote on X, “Thank God APC can’t add AFCON to their list of achievements to hide their years of failure. AFCON bye bye.”

The Super Eagles are now going to play in the third-place match against Egypt to try and win the bronze medal.

Popular Tanzanian music star, Juma Jux, shared the stage with his wife Priscilla Ojo to headline 2025 Detty December Fest.

The event kicked off in Lagos on Thursday night.

DAILY POST reports that Juma Jux first performed ‘Do I’, and ‘God Design’ with his Nigerian counterpart, Phyno.

The night featured other supporting stars like Qing Madi, Kashope, Zeez, Mo’Believe, Broda Shaggi, and Dotun, a celebrity hype man.

This year’s edition of Detty December Fest is scheduled to run until December 31, 2025.

Legendary American rapper Busta Rhymes is set to headline after Juma Jux on December 19. Gunna will also take center stage on December 29.

Don Jazzy reveals his problem with Ayra Starr, other GenZ artists

Ace music executive, Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has revealed his major challenge with dealing with GenZ artists under his record label.

Speaking in an episode of Who’s In The House podcast, the Mavin Records boss lamented that his major challenge with dealing with GenZ artists is their reluctance to promote their music passionately on their social media pages.

He explained that a lot of GenZ artists are adamant about flooding their pages with their musical contents because they are more concerned about the aesthetics of their social media pages.

Don Jazzy disclosed that the issue sometimes causes disagreement between him and his artists, especially the established ones.

“I fight with my artists all the time because of their reluctance to post their muscat contents on their social media pages. I’m also fighting with my niece, who is into entertainment, for the same issue.

“I don’t know who told GenZ that it is not okay to post your work excessive on social media. They want to keep a clean page and don’t want to post or promote themselves. Especially Ayra Starr, who will tell me it’s imposter syndrome,” he lamented.

The music executive urged artists to always showcase their works online at any given opportunity.
