Transfer: Two players to leave PSG after UCL final victory over Arsenal

Two players are set to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer in search of more playing time.
They are Kang-in Lee and Goncalo Ramos.
This was revealed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Monday night.
Romano, writing on his X account, claimed Atletico Madrid are interested in both forwards.
He tweeted: “Kang-in Lee and Gonçalo Ramos plan to leave Paris Saint-Germain in order to get more game time.
“Atlético Madrid asked for both already months ago, more options expected to follow.
“Chevalier situation also one to watch.”
Only Ramos featured off the bench as PSG beat Arsenal in last Saturday’s Champions League final.

Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon, has risen to the defence of Victor Osimhen saying he is “a fighter” who wants the best for the team.

Simon, has, however, warned the Galatasaray striker that he also needs his teammates to shine.

Osimhen clashed with Ademola Lookman in frustration, after he didn’t pass the ball to him, during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations last-16 clash with Mozambique on Monday.

The 27-year-old was eventually replaced by Simon, after he gestured to the bench to be taken off.

“He is always a fighter in the team. Of course, he will still fight for us,” Simon told Soccernet about Osimhen.

“We need him and the team needs him and I believe he also needs us.”

Head coach of the team, Eric Chelle, has promised to deal with the issue within the dressing room.

Nasarawa United head coach, Moga Stephen, has urged the club’s fans not to relent in their support for the team.

The Solid Miners are without a win in their last three games.

Nasarawa United were held to a 1-1 draw by Bayelsa United in Lafia on Sunday.

Moga said they will work together to return to winning ways.

“We are a team, and we work collectively to achieve results. We don’t rely on any single player to do the magic alone,” Moga told Nasarawa United’s media.

“We call on our loyal and faithful supporters and fans to keep supporting us to achieve success in the league.”

Nasarawa United occupy third position on the league table with 41 points from 25 matches.

NNL: Akwa United players urged to stay focused in promotion battle

Akwa United’s Chairman, Joseph Eno, has urged his players to stay focused and determined as they face Sporting Lagos in a Nigeria National League, NNL, matchday 14 clash.

Eno emphasized the importance of securing a win, which would significantly boost their chances of promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Akwa United currently top the NNL Conference B table with 24 points, while Sporting Lagos sits in second position with 23 points.

The top teams from each group will secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

“We have come a long way after thirteen games, and we must not lose focus, especially in this big match against our closest challengers,” Eno stated during his visit, on Friday.

“This is a very important game, and I expect you to stay focused and determined to secure the victory.

“A win will be a huge boost to our push for promotion. I want you to show confidence, teamwork, and the winning mentality that has brought us this far.”

Akwa United will lock horns with Sporting Lagos at the Uyo Township Stadium on Sunday.
