Manchester City are intensifying efforts to sign Super Falcons midfielder Jennifer Echegini from Paris Saint-Germain.
The Women’s Super League champions have already seen several offers for the Nigeria international rejected.
According to Guardian Sport women’s football writer Tom Garry, City remain determined to secure Echegini’s services before the WSL transfer window closes tonight.
PSG, however, are reluctant to part ways with the 25-year-old, who has one year left on her contract.
Echegini has developed into an important member of the Parisian side since joining the club in 2024.
The midfielder is familiar with English football, having spent part of her youth career with Charlton Athletic, Millwall and Arsenal.
She joined PSG after one season with Juventus, where she enjoyed an impressive campaign, scoring 10 goals in 16 appearances.
