The wife of music executive Jude Okoye, Ifeoma Okoye, has broken her silence following fresh allegations made by singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, declaring that she has no intention of defending herself publicly despite being dragged into the ongoing family dispute.
Ifeoma made the remarks in a statement shared on her official Instagram page on Monday, hours after Peter released another episode of his video series detailing his long-running disagreement with his elder brother over the affairs and assets of the former P-Square group.
In the latest episode, Mr P alleged that Jude attempted to transfer his ownership rights in one of P-Square’s properties to Ifeoma, a move he claimed he rejected after discovering documents bearing her name.
Responding to the controversy without mentioning Peter or Jude directly, Ifeoma said she had become aware of the stories circulating about her but would not be drawn into public exchanges.
“I have no desire to defend myself before those who are committed to misunderstanding me. Truth does not need manipulation to prevail, and I trust God to vindicate what is right,” she wrote.
She added that silence should not always be mistaken for fear, insisting she had chosen to entrust the truth to God rather than engage in accusations or fuel public conflict.
Drawing from the biblical story of Ananias and Sapphira, Ifeoma said no one could deceive God, describing Him as the righteous judge who exposes falsehood and upholds the truth in His own time.
She concluded by praying for mercy, healing and restoration, asking God to soften hardened hearts, restore what has been damaged and lead everyone involved towards truth, humility and peace.
Her statement comes amid the growing public fallout between Peter and Jude Okoye, following a series of allegations made by Mr P over the management and ownership of P-Square’s assets.
