Chelsea manager, Xabi Alonso, has revealed that Maxence Lacroix is injured ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash against Manchester United.
Lacroix, who joined from Crystal Palace in the summer, is not expected to be fit before the international break.
“Max, he picked up an injury and we expect that he’s not going to be ready before the international break,” Alonso said.
“So he will be out for a few weeks.”
On Moises Caicedo’s fitness, Alonso added: “No, no issue. He’s okay for tomorrow.”
Alonso was also asked whether Emi Martinez could return before the international break:
He replied: “Yes, there is a chance. We still need to wait until next week. But let’s see how things go; there is a chance.”
