‘Women cheat more, they are more discreet’ – Toke Makinwa

Nigerian actress and media personality, Toke Makinwa has shared her opinion on infidelity disparity between the male and female genders.

Speaking in a recent episode of her Toke Moments podcast, the movie star claimed that women cheat more than men but more discreet.

She explained that it is easier for women to cheat unlike men, who have to spend resources, efforts and time to do so.

Makinwa explained that the realisation that women can also cheat makes her not to regard cheating as a dealbreaker.

She said, “Cheating is not a dealbreaker for me but it comes with a caveat. When I say it some people think that I am encouraging cheating. No. As I grow older, I realised that it is not just men who can cheat. Why are we making these men feel so special as if it is only them?

“Do you know how easy it is for a woman to cheat? It is even easier for us. But men will spend money, efforts and time to cheat.

“But we, we are the ones receiving. It is easier for women to cheat. You know, we have work boyfriend. A woman not cheating is not because she cannot cheat, it is probably because she has one thing you lack, it is strength.

“Women cheat more, but they know how to hide it.”

‘No artist is wack, every music is tailored made’ – 2Baba

He said, “Every music is tailored made to evoke an emotion, to create a spirit. There is nothing like a wack artiste. That is why many of the so-called wack artists are more bankable than the talented ones. Because they understand that it is not the art itself, it is the marketing of that art.

“No matter how talented you are or how sweet your music is, there is no music that everybody likes. Everything is narrowed down to the marketing, promotion and the business. It is only those who resonate with your music that will like it naturally.”

‘I have never prayed before in my life’ – Seun Kuti

Afrobeat start, Seun Kuti has shared his opinion on prayer, revealing that he doesn’t believes in prayer.

In a recent video broadcast via his Instagram account, Kuti stated that he has never prayed before.

According to him, praying is childish. He argued that choices and actions are what shape an individual’s and not prayers.

“I have never prayed before in my life. I don’t know how to pray. I don’t believe it works. Your life is your prayer. Praying in the public or aloud is eye service. It is childishness,” he claimed.

“Your life is the prayer. What you do with your life is your prayer. That is the only prayer. Your action is prayer. Somebody say so you don’t believe in God?

“This concept of God that most people have is why prayer is even now completely noid and void. Because this God you talked about, you claimed he has already written down what is going to happen from the beginning to end; his will must be done.

“So, except your prayer aligns with his will… If your prayer does not align with the will of this your God, then your prayer will not be answered. But clerics won’t tell you this because they want to exploit you.

“I solve my problems. I don’t pray over my problems. If prayer solves problems, prisons and hospitals would be empty,” he added.

Don Jazzy, D’banj betrayed me – JJC Skillz

Nigerian singer Abdulrasheed Bello, popularly known as JJC Skillz, has accused his colleagues, Don Jazzy and D’banj, of conspiring with others to betray him many years ago.

In a recent interview with Echo Room, JJC claimed that the duo and others betrayed him despite his accommodating, feeding and clothing them as struggling artists in the UK.

He said, “Don Jazzy, Dbanj, Ayo, DJ Abass; all of them conspired against me. Taz brought a guy called Don Jazzy to me, and Ayo came through Abass. I met them because they were running a TV station.

“One day I came to them and said, ‘You guys are obviously well connected to Nigeria, and me, I am a JJC. I just need somebody to introduce me to the right people to work with in Nigeria.’ And they accepted that they were going to help me and they connected me to Bankulli.

“Don Jazzy and D’banj were under me then. So, these people who were supposed to introduce me back home to Nigeria, had plans that I didn’t know about. Then I heard something from Ruggedman saying that D’banj said I cheated them when they were working with me in the UK and that they are leaving my group.

“I was shocked because nobody knew them back then, I was the one taking them to shows, accommodating, feeding and clothing them. So, how can I be cheating when you haven’t made any money?”

D’banj, Don Jazzy and others are yet to react to JJC’s allegations.
