EPL: Go and play for another club – Arteta warns Arsenal players in title race

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has warned his players to enjoy the pressure of being in a Premier League title race or go and play for another club.
Arteta was speaking ahead of Sunday’s trip to bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
The Gunners come into the game two points ahead of Manchester City, having played an extra fixture.
Arteta has now told his players to cope with the “noise” that comes with a title fight.
He told reporters: “You ask them the question: “Do you want to be part of the noise, or not?”
“If not, go and do something else. Be part of a different club, or do you want to be at Arsenal? Everybody has been demanding for 10 years, 15 years, that we need to go back there (fighting for the title), and now we are there, and now what?
“You don’t want noise? Noise is part of it, and the bullets are part of that, and we try to deal with them in the right way and achieve what we are looking for.”

EPL: They have slight advantage – Shearer picks title winners

Ex-England striker, Alan Shearer, has insisted that Arsenal still has a little edge in the Premier League title race.
Eventhough Manchester City won against Newcastle and are now just two points behind, Shearer thinks Mikel Arteta’s men will end up winning the title.
If Arsenal are able to defeat Tottenham in the North London Derby on Sunday, they could go back to being five points ahead at the top of the table.
Shearer said in an interview with Premier League Productions, “Manchester City have been in this kind of position before.
“They have plenty of good players and their team knows exactly how to win.
“I still believe Arsenal might just have a slight advantage.”

NNL: Osho reacts to Crown FC draw against Inter Lagos

Crown FC head coach, Fatai Osho, has expressed displeasure with the outcome of their matchday 11 clash against Inter Lagos.
The Ajilete Warriors held Inter Lagos to a 1-1 draw at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan on Saturday.
Sadiq Rilwan opened the scoring for Crown FC, before Inter Lagos equalised after a goalkeeping error from the visitors in the second half.
Osho blamed loss of concentration from the goalkeeper which resulted in the equalizer.
“It was a painful moment for our goalkeeper. He had a wonderful game, but that brief lapse in concentration led to the mistake,” Osho told OyoSportsNews.
“These things happen in football and even in life. We must not crucify him. Instead, we need to encourage him because he has done so much for the team.
“We were aiming for all three points,; in fact, we believed we deserved more from the game but we have to accept the one point and move forward.”
