Ballon d’Or: He always wants more – Diaz names player who deserves 2026 award

Bayern Munich star, Luis Diaz, has named the player who he believes deserves to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or.

In a recent video posted on X by Bayern Munich on Thursday, Diaz endorsed his club teammate Harry Kane as the player who deserves the individual honour hundred per cent.

According to the Colombian international, the England captain always wants more and does everything on the pitch.

“He does everything. He attacks, defends, and assists,” Diaz said when asked why Kane should win the Ballon d’Or

“He was one of the top scorers in the whole world last season. That is why I think he deserves it. 100%.

“He always wants more, refuses to settle, and he helps you as a teammate to grow.”

Kane netted an astonishing 72 goals for Bayern Munich and the England national football team last season.

He also won the Bundesliga title with Vincent Kompany’s men and helped the Three Lions to win a bronze medal at the 2026 World Cup.

EPL: Xabi Alonso reveals four Chelsea players will miss Hull City clash

Chelsea manager, Xabi Alonso, has confirmed that at least four players in his squad will miss Saturday’s Premier League clash against Hull City.

The Blues suffered their first defeat of the season at Arsenal last weekend.

Alonso’s men will now be looking to bounce back against the Tigers, who are the only team yet to concede a goal this season.

But they will be without the quartet of Moises Caicedo, Marco Palestra, Jordan Henderson and Emmanue Emegha.

“Not yet,” Alonso said on Caicedo. “We’ll see for Brentford. We’re not at a moment to take risks with him.”

Henderson and Emegha also remain sidelined while they recover from their respective injury problems.

“Not tomorrow,” Alonso said on the duo. “We hope they can be for Brentford, but we’ll see.”
