EPL: They’re not leaders – Frank Leboeuf slams two Chelsea players

Former Chelsea defender, Frank Leboeuf, has slammed two of the club’s midfielders, Ezno Fernandez and Moises Caicedo, insisting that they are not leaders.

This follows the Blues’ performances as they lost 3-0 against Brighton in the Premier League on Tuesday.

“We do not have leaders in that team. We need a goalkeeper as a leader, we need a centre-half, we need a midfielder,” Leboeuf told ESPN FC.

“Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez are not leaders. I’m sorry, I have seen leaders.”

Despite both featuring at the Amex Stadium, Fernandez and Caicedo couldn’t prevent Chelsea from collapsing on Tuesday night.

EPL: Absolutely disgusting, I’m ashamed of your performance – Jason Cundy blasts Chelsea

Former Chelsea player, Jason Cundy, has slammed the Blues following their ‘disgusting’ performance against Brighton in the Premier League on Tuesday.

Cundy said he was ashamed of Liam Rosenior’s side against the hosts at the Amex Stadium as they were thrashed 3-0.

The result leaves Chelsea in seventh position on the Premier League table with less than four matches to conclude the season.

“That was absolutely disgusting,” Cundy told talkSPORT while reacting to Chelsea’s defeat to Brighton. “I am ashamed of that performance. Absolutely ashamed. It’s gutless.

“They absolutely battered us. They embarrassed us. At 2-0, I’m thinking the scoreline just doesn’t do it justice. And at 3-0, it still doesn’t.”

Our goal is to achieve European qualification and continue in the FA Cup.

De Jong among five high-profile players Barcelona want to sell this summer

Barcelona are reportedly planning a summer fire sale, with midfielder Frenkie de Jong among five high-profile players they are willing to let go.

Though the Netherlands international has long been a pillar in the Blaugrana’s engine room, his recent campaigns have been repeatedly disrupted by injuries.

As reported by MARCA, De Jong headlines the list of potential departures this summer.

Joining the 28-year-old are Robert Lewandowski, Marcus Rashford, Andreas Christensen, and Marc Casado.

De Jong is under contract until June 2029, but his recurring fitness issues have raised serious concerns.

This season alone, he’s missed 11 matches due to various injuries, including a hamstring problem that sidelined him for 45 days.

With Marc Bernal back in the fold and De Jong among the club’s top earners, his future looks increasingly uncertain.

Elsewhere, Lewandowskiwhose deal runs through June 2026, is reportedly nearing an exit.

Rashford’s loan spell is also set to end this summer, and after a quiet showing, particularly in the Champions League quarterfinals, a return to Manchester United seems likely.

La Masia product Casado has fallen out of regular favour under manager Hansi Flick, while Christensen has been sidelined since December with an ACL injury.
