‘God doesn’t give people money’ – Daddy Freeze

Nigerian media personality, Daddy Freeze, has stated that people don’t need to serve or worship God to become rich.

Daddy Freeze stated this during an Instagram Live video on Wednesday night while reacting to Peller’s remarks at Pastor Tobi Adegboyega’s church in the UK.

DAILY POST reports that TikToker Peller had explained that while others were praying at night, he was sleeping at home, yet God decided to bless him.

Reacting to Peller’s comment, Daddy Freeze said wealth doesn’t necessarily depend on religious beliefs.

While noting that people don’t have to acknowledge God to be rich, he questioned why many committed Christians remain among the poorest.

He said, “When you try to connect worshipping God to possession, you take for granted the sacrifice of the biblical Stephen, when you believe that if you pray to God, He gives you money.

“It’s the stupidity of our parents. They prayed to God but did they have money? As long as you attribute money to God, you will remain poor and broke. God doesn’t give people money. If he did, the top 10 richest people in the world would have been born again Christians.”

While arguing that money comes from creating value, he added, “You can wake up everyday and say, I hate God, I hate God, I hate God, and still be rich. You don’t need to even acknowledge that God exists to be rich.”

Watch him speak.

I wouldn’t have married Simi if she were SS or AS – Adekunle Gold

Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold, has revealed that genotype was a big factor for him when he wanted to marry due to him being SS.

Speaking in a recent episode of the One54 Podcast, Adekunle said he wouldn’t have married his wife if she wasn’t AA.

He emphasised that it makes no sense to bring a child into the world and they would be sickly.

“I wouldn’t have married my wife if she were SS or AS. Forget love. I don’t think it makes sense to bring a child into this world and they would be sickly.

“When me and my wife first met, the first thing I did was to know her genotype. She is AA. That was why I proceeded with the relationship,” he said.

Adekunle Gold has been advocating for sickle cell awareness since revealing that he is SS.

He got married to fellow singer Simi in January 2019. The couple have two children.
