Former England midfielder, Paul Merson, has said the pressure is now on Manchester City after Arsenal beat Fulham 3-0 on Saturday.
Viktor Gyokeres scored twice, while Bukayo Saka also got on the scoresheet, as the Gunners went six points clear of City.
Pep Guardiola’s men will face Everton on Monday night, as they play catch up to Arsenal.
Merson said on Sky Sports: “For the next four or five days until Man City play Everton and Brentford next week. The pressure is on them now…
“Fair play to Arsenal, after that absolute nightmare against Bournemouth, to bounce back the way they have to get these two results is massive.
“In his wildest dreams last night lying in bed, Arteta couldn’t have dreamt that [tonight’s performance].”
