Armed bandits on Friday afternoon raided Dangani town in Musawa Local Government Area of Katsina State, looting shops and carting away valuables belonging to residents.
The incident was disclosed by a security analyst, Bakatsine, in a post shared on X on Friday.
According to him, the attackers stormed the community shortly before the Juma’at prayer.
“This afternoon before Juma’at prayer, bandits stormed Dangani town in Musawa LGA of Katsina State, looting phones, cash, fuel, fabrics and other goods from residents and local shops,” he wrote.
He added that the attackers seized the day’s earnings of traders and other valuable property belonging to residents despite the ongoing Ramadan fasting period.
“How long will communities continue to face such attacks without stronger security protection?” he asked.
