Euro 2024: Slovenia Draw Vs England To Seal Historic Knockout Round Qualification Ticket

Slovenia on Tuesday held England to a 0-0 draw in Group C, and book their place in the round of 16 in the European Championship.

Slovenia have now qualified for the knockout rounds of the European Championship and also a major international tournament for the first time in their history.

The draw did not affect England’s chance of progressing as they had already advance heading into Tuesday’s fixture.

It was a game England dominated in every department but could not Crown their effort with a goal.

Gareth Southgate’s men had 71 percent in possession to Slovenia’s 29, had three shots on target to their opponent’s one.

Also, the Three Lions had six corners to Slovenia’s zero and made 23 crosses while Slovenia only had three.

The group other game between Denmark and Serbia ended goalless.

After the conclusion of the group games, England, on five points, topped the group and are joined in the knockout round with Denmark (three points) and Slovenia (three points).

Serbia crashed out in the group after finishing bottom with two points.
