EPL: Carrick speaks on resigning as Man Utd manager after 4-4 draw with Aston Villa

Manchester United manager, Michael Carrick, has made it clear that he will not step down from the role.
Carrick was speaking following a 4-4 draw with Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday.
According to the 45-year-old, he expects to “move forward and keep working” despite the run of poor results.
Joshua Zirkzee and Patrick Dorgu scored in stoppage time to rescue a point, but United go into the two-week international break sitting in relegation spots.
“We haven’t won enough games, but I expect to move forward and keep working on the things that we’ve been working on,” Carrick told Sky Sports.
“Showing a lot of the good (things) in the game today, tighten up on a few mistakes and win football matches.”
