Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has lauded the Nigeria police for the rescue of the younger sister of former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, and her kids.
In a post on his verified X handle on Saturday night, Keyamo said other kidnapped victims will be rescued without delay.
Well done! Well done! The others are coming home soon,” he tweeted.
DAILY POST reports that the ex-minister’s sister and her children were released on Saturday.
During the operation, two suspected kidnappers were killed in a gun duel with police operatives, while two firearms were recovered from the gang.
The victims were kidnapped around 7:30 a.m. on June 3, 2026, while on their way to drop the children at school.
