Barcelona don’t have money to buy Harry Kane – Bayern president, Hoeness

Bayern Munich honorary president, Uli Hoeness, has claimed that Barcelona cannot afford to sign Harry Kane.
Hoeness has said he expects the 32-year-old to remain with the Bundesliga giants beyond this summer.
Kane netted a hat-trick as the Bavarians thrashed VfB Stuttgart 3-0 on Saturday to add the DFB-Pokal to their league title.
The England striker finished the season with 61 goals.
But with his contract running out in 2027, he has been linked with a possible move to Barça.
“Harry Kane is the best transfer we’ve ever made,” Hoeness told Das Erste.
“Bayern are a buying club not a selling club.”
When asked if he could definitely confirm Kane will stay, he added: “Yes, and Barcelona have no money anyway.”

Sheffield United have joined the list of clubs interested in Brentford midfielder, Frank Onyeka, DAILY POST reports.

The Sky Bet Championship club are keen to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season.

The Blades have formally enquired about Onyeka, according to the Daily Mail.

Brentford would consider a loan with option to buy for the Nigeria international.

Onyeka has struggled for regular playing time at the club this season.

The 28-year-old has also been linked with Spanish club, Valencia.

He spent last season on loan with Bundesliga side, Augsburg.

Kun Khalifat FC technical adviser, Obinna Uzoho, says his team will not give up their fight to avoid relegation in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, this season.

The modest side moved to 17th position in the table after a 2-1 win over Kano Pillars at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri on Sunday.

Uzoho expressed confidence in the side’s ability to retain their top-flight status.

“We always believe in ourselves and we don’t give up until the last whistle is blown,” Uzoho told Puyaka.

“We will fight until we are safe to play in the league next season.”

Uzoho added that survival would benefit the squad’s younger players.

“Our safety is good for the young players because next season they will show more of their talents to the world.”

NPFL: Amapakabo hails Abia Warriors goal scorer in win over Kun Khalifat

Abia Warriors technical adviser Imama Amapakabo has praised striker Suraj Lawal for his contribution to the win over Kun Khalifat FC.

Lawal scored the goal that secured a 1-0 victory for Abia Warriors at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri on Sunday. He has now found the net in back-to-back games for the Umuahia-based side.

Amapakabo is confident that the player can improve further with more game time.

“He has too much to give but I think his end point had always been his goal scoring,” Amapakabo told the club’s media.

“We are working on that with him because he does too much outside the box, he had too many goals to score with his ability.”

Lawal has registered two goals for Abia Warriors in this campaign.
