Nigerian skit maker cum Nollywood actor, Adebowale Adedayo, better known as Mr Macaroni, has taken a jab at the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, over the deplorable state of roads in the state.

Naija News reports that the movie star, in a post via X, questioned why the Lagos State government continues to risk the lives of its citizens.

According to Mr Macaroni, there are potholes on the roads, causing accidents that can destroy lives and properties.

He further asked Sanwo-Olu to kindly take a drive around Lagos roads to see the condition of the road.

He wrote, “Hello Mr Governor @jidesanwoolu, One of these days when you are not too busy with the very serious task of going to the Airport in Abuja to welcome Mr President from an International trip, kindly take a drive around Lagos roads and let us know why the government continues to risk the lives of Lagosians. There are potholes on the roads causing accidents that are capable of destroying lives and properties.
Do better?”

‘You Must Think You Are Talking To Your Slaves’

Meanwhile,  Mr Macaroni, recently criticised the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, for hurling insults at some residents of Abuja.

Naija News reported that Wike recently expressed his frustration towards residents of the Lugbe area, accusing them of land grabbing.

Wike had visited the area last Tuesday following reports of protests by residents who allegedly tried to stop the demolition of their properties.

Wearing a blue suit and his signature bowler hat, Wike, visibly angry and surrounded by security personnel, lectured the residents on the proper procedure for acquiring land legally.

It cannot work. You cannot come to a place and seize land and say it is your own. We will not allow that. If not for lawlessness…” Wike stated in a raspy voice.

He continued, “If you do not know what to do, we will teach you what to do.”

The residents, in response, protested Wike’s assertions, claiming they had legal documents to prove their ownership of the land.

“We are not land grabbers, we are developers. We have papers. We have submitted these papers to the authorities,” they said in unison.

Wike, clearly angered, interrupted them.

Shut up!” the minister thundered. “Every land in the FCT belongs to the FCT. The supreme court said the area councils do not have that power to allot land. And that was why the area councils came to us to grant them that request.

In a post via his X handle, Mr Macaroni urged Wike to address Nigerian citizens with utmost humility and respect because they pay his salary.

The skit maker also said Wike should never question the sanity of Nigerians, adding that the former governor is not doing anyone a favour for being a Minister.
