Former Watford captain, Troy Deeney, has named the two teams that will stop Arsenal from winning their first ever Champions League trophy this season.
The Gunners qualified for the quarter-finals on Tuesday night, after they eliminated Bayer Leverkusen 3-1 on aggregate.
Mikel Arteta’s men will now take on Sporting Lisbon for a spot in the last four.
Although Deeney admitted that Arsenal are “answering every question” in England and Europe, he feels Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are better teams.
Deeney said on CBS Sports: “I think they can do more and can be fantastic but do I think they beat PSG? No.
“Do I think in a two-legged game they beat Bayern Munich? No.
“I know they beat them in the group stage but over two legs?”

The Opta SuperComputer is sticking with Arsenal to win the 2025/2026 Premier League title, despite a 3-2 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday.

Matheus Cunha ended the Gunners’ unbeaten home record with a stunning strike from outside the box.

The result also meant that Mikel Arteta’s men’s lead at the top of the table was cut to four points, with Manchester City and Aston Villa winning over the weekend.

But Opta is still making Arsenal overwhelming favourites to become champions for the first time in over 20 years.

It has given them an 84.44% chance of finishing first, while City have an 8.38% probability.

Aston Villa have been given a 7.09% chance. Liverpool has less than 1%.

There are 15 fixtures left to be played in the league this campaign.

Former Beşiktaş midfielder, Sinan Engin has suggested that Victor Osimhen, Noa Lang, and Gabriel Sara are the three-star players of the match who helped Galatasaray defeat Juventus in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 playoff first leg tie on Tuesday.

Osimhen was among the Galatasaray players who gave an impressive display against Juventus.

The 27-year-old Nigerian inspired Galatasaray to a 5-2 win over the Serie A giants in Turkey.

He provided two assists in the game and also put pressure on the Juventus defence during the encounter.

“I was proud of Galatasaray. Galatasaray is truly a European team. Galatasaray tore Juventus apart. Last week, I said that Galatasaray was going to destroy Juventus,” Engin said on the Asist Analiz YouTube channel.

“You could name a few people as the stars of the match. You could say Osimhen, Sara, Lang, but the star of the match was Galatasaray.”

Former Real Madrid and Liverpool winger, Steve McManaman has named the only two trophies Arsenal will win this season.

Arsenal are still in the race to win four (quadruple) trophies this term under their manager, Mikel Arteta.

Currently, the Gunners are on top of the Premier League table, they are also in the Champions League Round of 16, FA Cup quarter-final stage and Carabao Cup final.

However, McManaman Arsenal will win both the Premier League title and one of the domestic league Cups (Carabao Cup or FA Cup) this term.

“I think Arsenal will win two trophies this season – the league and a domestic cup,” McManaman said on TNT Sports.

This is coming after Arsenal defeated Mansfield Town 2-1 in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
