Troops kill 3 bandits, recover AK-47 rifle, rustled cattle in Zamfara

Troops of the Nigerian Army, in collaboration with Zamfara State local security outfit, Community Protection Guards, CPG, have neutralized three terrorists and recovered rustled cattle in the state.

DAILY POST gathered that the operation took place at Rukudawa village, Zurmi Local Government Area.

It was learnt that the troops launched a targeted offensive against the notorious terrorist kingpin Gwaska Dan Karami.

During the operation, the troops neutralized two terrorists and uncovered a terrorists’ warehouse packed with looted foodstuffs, which was subsequently destroyed.

The troops also intercepted marauding terrorists, neutralizing one in a gun battle.

The rest of the bandits escaped with various degrees of injuries, abandoning an AK-47 rifle, ammunition, two motorcycles, and 410 rustled cattle.
