Hot SourceTogbe Afede XIV, Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, has called for a stronger partnership between the Ho Teaching Hospital (HTH) and the Asogli people to position the facility as a destination for medical tourism in Ghana and beyond.
He made the appeal when the hospital’s new Chief Executive, Dr Hintermann K. K. Mbroh, paid a courtesy visit to the Asogli Palace in Ho.
The meeting brought together key managers of the hospital, including Human Resources Director Edmund Tsogbey and Medical Tourism Coordinator Anthony Bells Kafui Kanyi.
Togbe Afede described HTH as “strategically placed to serve not just the Volta Region but the continent,” and urged hospital leaders to build on recent investments in specialised care. “With the right collaboration and commitment, Ho can become a centre of excellence that attracts patients from across Africa,” he said.
The Ho Teaching Hospital, the Volta Region’s main referral centre, has in recent years upgraded its infrastructure and expanded specialist services.
