President Bola Tinubu, on Friday, observed a moment of silence in honour of Nigerian soldiers who recently lost their lives during an attack in Borno State.
The President made the observance while speaking at a stakeholders meeting held at the Bayelsa State Government House in Yenagoa during the commissioning of projects in the state.
“Before I commence please let us stand and observe a moment of silence for our men and women of the armed forces who paid the ultimate price in Borno State.
“And to the memory of Diepreye Alamieyeseigha the former Governor of Bayelsa State, may their souls rest in peace.
“ Nigerians thank all of you for your service. Thank you very much,” he said.
