Rivers: Thugs disrupt Arise News Live program as Wike-Fubara tension heightens

Suspected political thugs disrupted an Arise News Live Interview in a hotel in Rivers State on Friday night.
Arise Television disclosed this in a statement on X on Saturday.
According to the broadcast news outlet, the assailants invaded Londa Hotel in Orazi Obio/Local Government of Rivers State during a live interview with the former Commissioner for Employment Generation and Empowerment, Dr. Leloonu Nwibubasa.
Nwibubasa was speaking on the political situation in Rivers between current governor Siminalayi Fubara and Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
Eyewitnesses said the thugs, who were armed, broke into rooms around 9:15pm, looking for both the former commissioner and the Arise cameraman.
