Police deploy additional patrol teams over alleged night attacks in Adamawa community 

The Adamawa State Police Command has deployed additional patrol teams to the Kofare-Agric area of Yola following reports of alleged night attacks and calls by residents for increased police presence.
The deployment was disclosed in a statement issued on Friday by the Police Public Relations Officer, Adamawa State Command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, who said the Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, ordered massive night patrols to address the situation.
“The Commissioner of Police reassures residents that the Command remains fully committed to the protection of lives and property across the state,” the statement said, adding that “additional operational teams have been deployed to strategic locations within the area to deter criminal activities.”
The police noted that investigations into the reported incidents are ongoing, while proactive security measures have been strengthened in collaboration with sister security agencies and community stakeholders.
The command urged members of the public to remain calm and continue to provide timely and credible information to the police through established channels.
