They allegedly hit 38-year-old Stanley with a wooden pestle on the head during a family dispute.
Confirming the incident to DAILY POST on Friday, the Police Public Relations Officer, Oluseyi Babaseyi, said the arrest was made following an anonymous tip-off regarding suspicious activities in the area.
Babaseyi stated that upon the information, detectives arrived at the scene and apprehended Maureen, who was allegedly trying to bury the blood-drenched corpse in a shallow grave.
He described the act as an attempt to conceal the crime, disclosing that they all conspired in the commission of the crime and the attempted cover-up.
The PPRO said, “The suspects were apprehended on Thursday, 9th April 2026, at about 1115hrs, following an anonymous tip-off regarding suspicious activities in the area.
“Acting promptly on the information, detectives arrived at the scene and caught one of the suspects attempting to bury a blood-drenched corpse in a shallow grave, in what is suspected to be an effort to conceal the crime.
