NPFL: Warri Wolves midfielder Emonena confident ahead season-ending fixtures

The duo of Adekunle Mojeed and Adegbite Seye are on the verge of securing a move to Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, giants Enyimba.

Adekunle and Adegbite are currently on the books of Nigeria National League, NNL, side Crown FC.

The nine-time NPFL champions are reported to be in talks with Crown FC to finalise a move for the players.

Both players are understood to be in Aba to sort out personal terms with the Enyimba.

The duo are expected to reunite with their former tactician Ayodeji Ayeni at Enyimba.

Ayeni joined the People’s Elephant towards the end of the NPFL first stanza.

Ola Aina has revealed how Nottingham Forest can get the better of FC Midtylland in their UEFA Europa League clash, DAILY POST reports.

Vítor Pereira’s side lost 1-0 to the Danish club at the City Ground last week.

The Tricky Trees must overturn the single-goal deficit to earn a spot in the quarter-finals.

Aina stated that a strong defensive performance will be important for the Premier League club in the game.

“We will keep it tight at the back, and hopefully we can bang in some goals,” Aina said ahead of the game.

Forest defeated Fenerbahçe 3-0 in their last away fixture in the Europa League.

Football commentator and Turkish journalist, Haluk Yürekli, has suggested a Galatasaray player who is as valuable as Victor Osimhen after the Turkish Super Lig giants recently defeated Liverpool in the Champions League.

According to Yürekli, Çakır gave a display as valuable as the Nigerian international for Galatasaray against Arne Slot’s men, calling on the Turkish Super Lig champions not to sell the 29-year-old shot-stopper to any English Premier League club.

He spoke while speaking on the 343 Digital YouTube channel.

“Uğurcan Çakır is delivering a performance as valuable as Osimhen’s.

“If I were the decision-maker at Galatasaray, I would not sell Çakır for €50million, even to an English club.”

Çakır will hope to continue his impressive display for Galatasaray when they face Liverpool in the return leg next week.
