Remo Stars technical adviser, Usman Abdallah, says he expect a difficult match against Kwara United in their next league fixture in Ikenne.
Abdallah said they are determined to consolidate on their last home win over Nasarawa United.
The experienced tactician acknowledged that a victory over Kwara United will boost their relegation survival push.
The Sky Blue Stars will face Kwara United at the Remo Stars Stadium this weekend.
“Nasarawa United and Kwara United matches are the most difficult for us in our battle with relegation,” Abdullah told Remo Stars media.
“Six points from the two matches will motivate the boys; it will elevate us above all the relegation contestants.
“It’s possible, and the players will have to work hard to get it done.”

Strasbourg manager, Liam Rosenior, has confirmed he is set to replace Enzo Maresca at Chelsea.

Rosenior revealed this during a press conference on Tuesday.

According to him, there is a verbal agreement with the Blues, as it is “an opportunity I cannot turn down”.

“It looks like I am going to be the next manager of that football club (Chelsea),” he added.

The 41-year-old will become Chelsea’s fourth permanent boss since BlueCo took control in 2022.

The Premier League club are yet to make Rosenior’s appointment official, but he was in London on Monday to finalize an agreement.

Rosenior has now said he had wanted to announce the news himself in Strasbourg because of his relationship with the Ligue 1 side.

“Everything is agreed and it will probably go through in the next few hours,” he said.

“I’m here because I care about this club and I felt it was right to answer your questions physically here today before I move on.”

Chelsea star, Pedro Neto has said the Paris Saint-Germain ball boy apologised to him at least 35 times after their Champions League defeat to the French champions.

Paris Saint-Germain played Chelsea at the Parc des Princes in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Round of 16.

Neto said that he expressed regret after pushing the ball boy during the 5-2 loss.

Neto faced criticism and backlash from PSG players after he caused the ball boy to fall towards the advertising boards. The ball was out of play in the final moments of the match, and Neto attempted to retrieve it quickly.

The ball boy had already collected the ball and was waiting for the player to take it. Instead, the Portuguese player became physical with the young boy.

In a post-match interview, Neto acknowledged his errors and expressed that he was ‘truly sorry’.

“I want to come forward and address the incident that occurred on the pitch; I wish to apologise to the ball boy,” he told TNT Sports.

“I had already spoken with him; the emotions of the game, with us trailing, made me eager to retrieve the ball, and I gave him a slight push. I realised that I had hurt him and immediately apologised; that is not my character. I gave him my shirt because such behaviour is unacceptable, so I am genuinely, truly sorry.”

Neto also presented the ball boy with his jersey and mentioned that the boy apologised to him 35 times.

“I also gave him my shirt,” Neto remarked. “He was pleased to receive the shirt and apologised approximately 35 times.”
