NPFL: Deutsch upbeat Enyimba won’t be relegated

Emmanuel Deutsch is optimistic Enyimba will maintain their top-flight status at the end of the season, DAILY POST reports.
The nine-time champions suffered a 2-0 defeat against Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday.
Chiedozie Okorie and former Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa were on target for Kano Pillars in the game.
Enyimba dropped to 16th position in the table following the defeat.
The People’s Elephant now have seven matches to salvage their campaign.
Deutsch is confident they will remain in the NPFL next season.
“Enyimba will maintain their position in the Premier League. I’m very optimistic about that. Enyimba will survive at the end of the season,” the Cameroonian said after the defeat to Sai Masu Gida.
