BON HOTEL MANAGER PASSED AWAY, ILAJI HOTELS AND SPORTS RESORT SYMPATHIZES WITH THEM.

 On Thursday 18th January, 2024, BON Hotel Ibadan, announced the passing away of its Operations Manager, Mr. Tunde Solomon.

 The deceased was said to have died of a heart attack after the shock he suffered from the explosion that occurred in the Bodija axis near the BON Hotel, his place of work. The explosion which rocked Dejo Oyelese street last Tuesday night, claiming many lives, with over 77 people injured, and casualties to both lives and properties across the region. 

Mr. Solomon suffered a heart attack on the 17th of January 2024 and it is believed that it was a consequence of the shock experienced as a result of the explosion which occurred on the 16th of January 2024 at the Bodija Axis.”

 While mourning the deceased on the hotel’s Instagram page, @bonhotelibadan, the management of the hotel described its late Operations Manager as a selfless and dedicated worker who had been using his 25 years in the industry for the growth of their organization.

The management described that; “Mr. Tunde Solomon was a vastly experienced member of staff with more than 25 years in the industry. His commitment to his role and his contributions to the growth of BON Hotel  Ibadan and the BON group in general during his tenure were invaluable.” His loss leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Ilaji Resort’s Chairman/Chief Executive, Chief (Engr.) Dotun Sanusi, and the entire members of staff extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Mr. Solomon during this difficult time. We pray for them and keep them in our thoughts as they deal with this challenge.
