The 31-year-old is approaching his 10th season in the NFL, making him one of the most experienced players in his position. He was part of the Philadelphia Eagles team which won the Super Bowl in 2018, so he knows what it takes to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Ravens Have All the Weapons to Succeed

Baltimore won the AFC North title last season in what was a good year for the franchise. It was just one step away from the Super Bowl, as it was beaten by the eventual winners, the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. Baltimore is +900 in American football betting to be successful in Super Bowl LIX in February 2025.

The Ravens are likely to be one of the leading sporting betting tips ahead of the upcoming campaign, as they have retained many leading stars, ensuring they have one of the strongest rosters in the league. Quarterback Lamar Jackson was named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the regular season and is committed to helping his team go at least one place better this year. Jackson is regarded as one of the best QBs in the sport and he is getting better with every year in the NFL.

Agholor, who was born in Lagos, has formed a great relationship with Jackson since he joined Baltimore in early 2023. They connected for 35 receptions last season in 17 games, with the WR picking up 381 receiving yards and four passing touchdowns. That partnership should get better in 2024, as the pair know each other’s game well now.

The Baltimore duo will be joined next season by former NFL Offensive Player of the Year Derrick Henry. After leaving the Tennessee Titans, the explosive running back has signed a two-year deal with the Ravens, adding an extra dimension to their offense. Henry has twice led the league in rushing yards, and he should get plenty of opportunities to rush the ball next season.

Big Performances in Play-Offs

Baltimore fans will be delighted that Agholor has signed a one-year extension to remain with the franchise as he showed in the playoffs last season that he is a player for the big occasion. The Nigerian scored a touchdown and had two receptions in the Ravens’ 34-10 victory over the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round.

Agholor also shone in Baltimore’s divisional fixtures against the Cincinnati Bengals in 2023. He scored touchdowns in both of those regular season games. Those matches are going to be important again this year if the Ravens are to defend their AFC North crown.

It has been 12 years now since Baltimore last won a Super Bowl Championship. They beat the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 at Super Bowl XLVII in a classic encounter. John Harbaugh was in charge for that game, and he remains the head coach looking to deliver more success to the Maryland-based team.

Agholor and the Ravens start their new season in the NFL Kickoff Game against Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs on September 6.
