The family of the late Senator Solomon Akku Ewuga, former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State and Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has announced the schedule for his funeral rites.
According to a statement released by the family, the ceremonies will begin with a Night of Songs and Tributes on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at De Rainbow Marque Events Centre, Garki, Abuja, starting at 4:00 p.m.
A wake keep is slated for Friday, October 31, at the late senator’s residence in Alushi, Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, also beginning at 4:00 p.m.
The final burial service will hold on Saturday, November 1, at the Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ (ERCC), Alushi, by 10:00 a.m., after which Senator Ewuga will be laid to rest.
Senator Ewuga, who represented Nasarawa North Senatorial District in the 7th National Assembly, passed away on September 23, 2025, in Cairo, Egypt, where he had travelled for medical treatment. He was 70 years old.
