A dramatic turn of events has unfolded in the Katsina State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), with the suspension of Tsauri A’ Ward Chairman, Danjuma Abubakar.

The ward’s executive committee decided on September 17, 2024, citing Abubakar’s unauthorised attempt to suspend  Senator Umar Tsauri as a violation of the PDP constitution.

Addressing journalists in Katsina on behalf of the committee, the ward secretary, Abdullahi  Garba, explained that the chairman deceitfully manipulated the suspension of the former national secretary of the party, Tsauri against their will.
