Kano police return recovered Honda Pilot, seek owner of Toyota Sienna

The Kano State Police Command has returned a recovered Honda Pilot jeep to its rightful owner from Bauchi State.

The vehicle was stolen at gunpoint in Bauchi and later recovered in Plateau State by the Special Intervention Squad of the Kano State Police Command.

This was disclosed in a statement signed on Tuesday by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa.

In a related development, the command also recovered a maroon Toyota Sienna with registration number RBC-801HM in Hotoro North, Kano.

The owner of the vehicle has yet to come forward with proof of ownership.

The Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, commended the officers involved for their professionalism and dedication in recovering the stolen vehicles.

“The Kano State Police Command appeals to the owner of the Toyota Seina to come forward with proof of ownership or call 09065885622 to facilitate its return,” he said.

“We remain committed to fighting vehicle theft and related crimes in the state.”
