
National Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has departed Ghana for Japan on a working trip.
Asiedu Nketia, who also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), is leading a delegation to the Annual General Meeting of the International Association of Ports and Harbours (IAPH) in Kobe, Japan.
A statement issued by theDirector of Communications, Kakra Essamuah, on Thursday, 3 October 2025, said the delegation will return to Ghana on 12 October 2025.
In his absence, the party’s Vice Chairman, Comrade Awudu Sofi Azorka, will act as National Chairman.
