Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has lambasted President Donald Trump of the United States over his move to take Greenland.
In a post on his verified X handle on Saturday, Sani said Trump illegally stormed Venezuela and kidnapped their President and is now trying to seize Greenland.
DAILY POST reports that Trump had indicated interest on annexing the Danish autonomous territory.
He said that controlling the mineral-rich island is crucial for US national security, given the rising military activity of Russia and China in the Arctic.
But the former Nigerian lawmaker in a social media comment alleged of Trump, “He illegally invaded Venezuela and kidnapped their President. He is threatening to seize Greenland by force.
“He is threatening to bomb other sovereign nations. He doesn’t care about International law.
“He changed his department of defence to that of War. He wants a Nobel peace prize.”
