The Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) has been recognised as the Outstanding Agency Driving Digital Transformation in Ghana at the 7th National Technology and Communications Awards (NTCA), held at the Marriot Hotel in Accra on Friday, 7 November 2025.
The Acting Administrator of GIFEC, Mr Sofo Tanko Rashid-Computer, was also honoured as the 2025 Top Transformational Tech Leader for his leadership and contribution to Ghana’s digital inclusion agenda.
The National Technology and Communications Awards, now in its seventh edition, celebrates innovation, excellence, and impact in Ghana’s fast-evolving technology and communications sector.
The annual event brings together leading public and private sector institutions, technology innovators, and industry experts to recognise outstanding achievements and groundbreaking initiatives driving the country’s digital transformation.
GIFEC’s recognition underscores its continued efforts in bridging Ghana’s digital divide through strategic initiatives that enhance connectivity and promote access to digital tools and services across underserved and unserved communities.
The awards add to GIFEC’s growing list of national and international recognitions as a leading agency driving inclusive technology growth in Ghana.
