Ethiopian investors set for exclusive investment tour in Rwanda this December

A curated delegation of Ethiopian investors is scheduled to embark on a comprehensive five-day investment exploration tour in Rwanda from December 9 to 13, 2025. The initiative, facilitated by the Embassy of Rwanda in Ethiopia, is designed to provide firsthand, practical insight into the country’s dynamic economic landscape and lucrative investment opportunities.

The “Third Leg” of the business linkage program promises an immersive experience, combining high-level government briefings, site visits to key economic zones, and networking sessions.

The agenda is structured to give participants a deep understanding of the operating environment, existing incentives, and the robust legal framework that makes Rwanda a premier investment destination in Africa.

Over the four nights and five days, the investors will be engaged in a series of strategic activities, including:

· High-Level Engagements: Meetings with top officials from the Rwanda Development Board (RDB), the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MINICOM), the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Rwanda Housing Authority to discuss policy and specific opportunities.
· Financial Sector Interface: A dedicated visit to I&M Bank Rwanda to explore financing solutions for business ventures.
· On-the-Ground Visits: Tours of special Economic and Industrial Zones, active Agricultural projects, and premier Real Estate developments in areas such as Nyarutarama, Vision City, Rebero, and Kiyovu.
· Cultural and Networking Events: The program includes a city tour of Kigali, a trip briefing, a recap session, and a farewell dinner with entertainment, allowing for informal networking and cultural exchange.

The tour is offered as an all-inclusive package priced at $3,500 per person. This comprehensive cost covers:

· Return airfare from Ethiopia.
· Accommodation for 4 nights in a 5-star hotel.
· All meals as per the itinerary (breakfast, 4 lunches, and 2 dinners).
· Full transportation for the duration of the trip, including luxury V8 vehicles and a dedicated guide.
· Coordination and facilitation of all official meetings and field trips.

A 50% advance deposit of $1,750 is required to secure a spot. Interested investors must possess a valid passport, proof of Yellow Fever and COVID-19 vaccinations, and a scanned copy of their Ethiopian business license.

This initiative underscores Rwanda’s active efforts to attract foreign direct investment and strengthen economic ties with other African nations.

For the Ethiopian business community, it represents a unique, streamlined opportunity to tap into one of the continent’s most rapidly growing and business-friendly economies.
