Drinking competition: Two feared dead in Delta community, others hospitalized

Two persons involved in a drinking competition in Agbarha community, Delta State, have been reported dead, with two others hospitalized.

The deceased were involved in the competition to win one hundred thousand naira (N100,000).

It was learnt that they took a substance alleged to be alcohol in full bottles in an attempt to finish it at once but in the process, they fell down and died instantly.

DAILY POST learnt that two others are being resuscitated in a hospital.

The police are yet to issue a statement on the incident.
