Reports indicate that the incident occurred as some residents were travelling from Ogbe to Egbe to attend a wedding ceremony of an Ogbe indigene based in Egbe, Kogi.

According to the internal figures from the Alpha-Beta Strategy, Lagos State’s tax revenue stood at “₦1,252,669,245,400.07” as of December 31, 2024.
