Anthony was drafted by the Denver Nuggets with the third overall pick in 2003. After leaving the Knicks, Anthony played for the Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, and Los Angeles Lakers. He won a gold medal with Team USA in 2012 and 2016.

Anthony averaged 22.5 points per game for his career. He is 19th all-time in scoring with 27,219 points. He is also a five-time All-NBA selection and a 10-time All-Star.
