EPL: They’re not leaders – Frank Leboeuf slams two Chelsea players

Former Chelsea defender, Frank Leboeuf, has slammed two of the club’s midfielders, Ezno Fernandez and Moises Caicedo, insisting that they are not leaders.

This follows the Blues’ performances as they lost 3-0 against Brighton in the Premier League on Tuesday.

“We do not have leaders in that team. We need a goalkeeper as a leader, we need a centre-half, we need a midfielder,” Leboeuf told ESPN FC.

“Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez are not leaders. I’m sorry, I have seen leaders.”

Despite both featuring at the Amex Stadium, Fernandez and Caicedo couldn’t prevent Chelsea from collapsing on Tuesday night.

Singer Burna Boy’s mother, Bose Ogulu, has defended him amid social media backlash.

DAILY POST reports that Burna Boy has been criticised online for being arrogant.

The development came following the singer’s recent attack on Wizkid’s DJ, DJ Tunez at a Lagos club. The incident further led to an online fight between Wizkid and Burna Boy.

Reacting to the controversy, many Nigerians criticised Burna for always getting physical with people, tagging him arrogant.

However, defending the singer behavior during an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Channels TV, Bose Ogulu stated that she doesn’t mind being seen as arrogant.

When asked about Burna Boy, she said If knowing his worth and carrying himself as such is arrogant, then it is a good thing. “And I can’t apologize for that.”

Ebuka asked: “do you mind that Burna Boy is seen as arrogant? Do you mind that you are seen as arrogant with the way you run Burna brand?

She responded: “I don’t mind honestly, I don’t mind at all. I mean any adjective they want to attach to you is ok. The thing is who are you? If knowing your worth and carrying yourself as such is arrogant, then it is a good thing. And I can’t apologize for that. Because I think we were born into a world where we were expected to put our heads down.

“First is the color of your skin, the color of your passport, for me, my gender. So, I don’t understand the concept of that life. I understand that if I know something, I know it and I expect you to realise that I know it. And if you don’t realize that I know it, then, put me to the test”, she said.

Former Chelsea star, Jason Cundy, has made a shock FA Cup semi-final prediction between the Blues and Leeds United.

Chelsea are set to battle Leeds on Sunday evening for a place in the FA Cup final.

They head to the game after suffering a 3-0 defeat to Brighton in the Premier League on Tuesday.

However, Cundy is convinced his old club will fall short against Leeds.

Speaking during an interview on talkSPORT, Cundy said, “Do you know what? We got Leeds at the weekend,” Cundy said.

“We are not winning that game. We are getting dumped out of the FA Cup.”
