Transfer: Leicester City plot move for Okonkwo

Super Eagles goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo is a subject of interest from Leicester City, DAILY POST reports.

Okonkwo is currently regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the Sky Bet Championship following a number of impressive performances for Wrexham last season.

The 24-year-old’s future at Wrexham however  remain uncertain with less one year remaining in his contract.

The Red Dragons have been linked with Sunderland goalkeeper Anthony Patterson which could push Okonkwo down  to second choice at the club.

According to an AllAboutLeagueOne, Leicester City are desparate to sign the former Arsenal shot stopper.

The Foxes were relegated to League One last season which could make them less attractive to the Nigerian.

Derby County, Bristol City, and Watford have all been linked with Okonkwo.
