The Senior Pastor of The Second Coming of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa, has said Nigerians will not forgive President Bola Tinubu if he does not address the high cost of petroleum products following the removal of subsidy.

Addressing members of his congregation in Akure, Ondo State, the clergyman said Tinubu needs to remedy the situation fast.

He said: “Nigerians won’t forgive Tinubu on subsidy, he has to do everything needed to remedy the situation before it’s too late.

“If he maintains a high price of petroleum that means Nigerians won’t forgive and forget his administration, he has to quickly remedy the situation.”

He also disclosed that Tinubu must fulfil his promise of restructuring Nigeria for the country to be great again.

Pastor Giwa anchored his call on Biblical verses that disclosed how Timothy served as God’s representative to churches and restructured them.

He said: “For Nigeria to be great among the committee of nations, Tinubu has to fulfill his promises or promise on restructuring. He has to restructure the country from the constitution that we have in the country to politics, so he has to restructure the country.

“When you read 1st Corinthians 4 verse 17, then Philippians 2 verse 19 – it explained that Timothy served as God’s representatives to several churches.

“He went to the Philippian church, Corinthians, and Urea to restructure the church, so he has to restructure the country. So he should fulfil his promise of restructuring Nigeria.”

The clergyman further disclosed that people don’t need a pastor before God can answer their prayers.

He stressed that people can pray to God directly and he would answer their prayer.

“Hannah saw Prophet Eli when she went to Shiloh, but she didn’t meet with him. She went straight to talk to God. You don’t need a pastor for God to answer your prayer; you can pray directly to God.

“Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross removed the barrier of sin, granting believers direct and unhindered access to God the Father through faith in him. This access is not based on human merit but on God’s grace and is available at any time,” he added.
