
President John Mahama has returned to Ghana after a series of high-level meetings in Beijing, where he joined world leaders at the Global Leaders’ Meeting on Women to discuss strategies for advancing women’s empowerment and gender equality.
The summit, which brought together heads of state and policymakers, focused on accelerating global commitments to women’s rights, economic inclusion and leadership.
On arrival at the Kotoka International Airport, President Mahama was warmly received by Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang and top government officials.
