The campaign team of Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong has dismissed reports circulating on social media suggesting that he has been disqualified from the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) upcoming presidential primaries.
In a statement issued on 8 October 2025, the KAA 2028 Campaign Team described the claims as “false, unfounded and misleading,” urging party supporters and the public to disregard them.
According to the campaign, Ing. Agyepong has successfully completed the vetting process conducted by the NPP Presidential Elections Committee and has been officially invited by the party headquarters to participate in the balloting exercise scheduled for Friday, 10 October 2025, at Asylum Down.
The team assured supporters that Ing. Agyepong remains a qualified and committed aspirant, dedicated to upholding the democratic traditions of the party while contributing to national development.
“These false claims are clear attempts to mislead and divert attention from the unity, vision and focus of our campaign,” the statement noted.
The KAA 2028 Campaign reaffirmed its commitment to a message of integrity, service and renewal within the NPP and the country at large.
