The rescue comes in the wake of an earlier attack on December 2, 2025, when gunshots reportedly rang out in the community as unidentified gunmen abducted an unconfirmed number of people, sparking fear and anxiety among residents.
Local sources identified the victims as Ayinmero Shola and Monday, popularly known as Jebete, according to Okun Voice. The circumstances surrounding the abduction remain unclear as of press time.
