2025 NYSC Batch C registration begins Tuesday
The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, says it will commence its 2025 Batch C registration on Tuesday, 4 November, 2025.
The NYSC, in a notice on its official Facebook account on Sunday, said registration for both foreign-trained and locally-trained graduates will run from 4 – 9 November.
“Important notice. Online registration for 2025 Batch C commences Tuesday, 4th November, 2025,” NYSC wrote.
According to the mobilisation timetable embedded in the Facebook post, the dates were tentative.
The timetable revealed that the pre-camp physical verification of credentials for foreign-trained graduates is scheduled for 9 – 13 November, while ICT action is billed for 12 – 15 November.
It added online printing of deployment letters by corps-producing institutions, and physical delivery of call-up letters to schools, is scheduled for 16 – 18 November.
Prospective corps members are also expected to print their call-up letters within the same window, 16 – 18 November.
The scheme further explained that the 2025 Batch C orientation course dates will be announced later.
Meanwhile, it disclosed that the portal for remobilisation for absconded corps members under the 2025 Batch B cycle is currently open, and will close on 3 November, 2025.

Former federal lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has urged President Bola Tinubu to urgently address the security crisis rocking the country.
Sani made the call on Sunday while reacting to the threat by United States President, Donald Trump, of possible military action in Nigeria over alleged Christian genocide in the country.
The ex-Kaduna Central senator said he “stands unambiguously opposed to any act of Mr Donald J Trump foreign military aggression against my country under any guise, disguise or excuse”.
Countering Trump’s description of Nigeria as “a disgrace”, Sani declared that his “country is not ‘a disgraced country’ and will never be”.

The Presidency has commended former Kano State governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, for his patriotic stance on comments by United States President Donald Trump, who threatened possible military action in Nigeria.
Presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, in a post on X on Sunday, described Kwankwaso’s position as an act of patriotism, urging other political leaders to emulate him and rally behind the country during the ongoing diplomatic tensions.
“Thank you Senator Kwankwaso for your patriotism. This is a time for all political leaders, across the divide, to unite behind our country and speak out, as patriots,” Onanuga wrote on X.
DAILY POST reports that Kwankwaso had in a statement countered the claim of Christian massacre, stating that insecurity in Nigeria “does not distinguish based on religious, ethnic, or political beliefs”.
He urged Trump’s administration to “assist the Nigerian authorities with better cutting-edge technology to tackle these problems, rather than posing a threat that could further polarise our country”.
DAILY POST recalls Trump last week designated Nigeria as a country of particular concern.
The US President cited what he described as ongoing violence against Christians and failure of the government to protect religious minorities.
But the Nigerian government denied persecution of any religious groups in Nigeria.
On Saturday, Trump went ahead to threaten military action against Nigeria if nothing is done about the matter quickly.

UN Approves Resolution Backing Morocco’s Plan For Western Sahara
United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has adopted a resolution supporting Moroccan sovereignty over Western Sahara.
The UNSC, in a United States-drafted text, on Friday called for the parties to engage in negotiations based on an autonomy plan first presented by Morocco to the UN in 2007.
According to the resolution, a genuine autonomy for Western Sahara under Moroccan sovereignty could be the most feasible solution to Rabat’s 50-year conflict with the Algeria-backed Polisario Front.
The US, which sponsored the resolution, led 11 countries in voting in favour, while three countries – Russia, China and Pakistan – abstained. Algeria, Polisario’s primary benefactor, opposed the measure.
Mike Waltz, the US ambassador to the UN, said the vote had been “historic” and would “build on the momentum for a long, long overdue peace in Western Sahara”.
“We urge all parties to use the coming weeks to come to the table and engage in serious discussions.We believe regional peace is possible this year, and we will make every effort to facilitate progress,” Waltz said.
Amar Bendjama, the Algerian ambassador to the UN, said that while the resolution was an improvement on previous iterations, it “still has a number of shortcomings”.
“It is below, below, I say, of the expectations and the legitimate aspirations of the people of Western Sahara, represented by the Polisario Front,” he said.
Although Friday’s vote was divided, the resolution offers the strongest endorsement yet for Morocco’s plan to keep sovereignty over the territory, which also has backing from most European Union members and a growing number of African allies.
The resolution refers to Morocco’s plan as a basis for negotiation as with similar resolutions in previous years, the text makes no mention of a referendum on self-determination that includes independence as an option.
The 11 council members vote in favour of the resolution also renewed for one year the mandate of the UN peacekeeping force in Western Sahara, known as the UN Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO)
Western Sahara, a tract of desert the size of Britain, has been the scene of Africa’s longest-running territorial dispute since colonial power Spain left in 1975 and Morocco annexed the territory.
Morocco considers the territory its own while the Polisario Front seeks to establish an independent state called the Sahrawi Republic.
Morocco’s autonomy proposal would establish a local legislative, executive and judicial authority for Western Sahara elected by its residents, while Rabat would retain jurisdiction over defence, foreign affairs and religious matters.
